As a functional health coach, my priority is to address your needs, not the needs of an insurance company. I offer comprehensive care and coaching which often consists of lifestyle, functional, holistic, and complementary treatments along with advanced testing, all of which are frequently deemed ‘outside of reasonable and customary’ by insurance companies and excluded from covered benefits. However, in some instances based on your FSA / HSA account, some costs may qualify for reimbursement.
I value our time together. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please do so 48 hours before your scheduled time or you will be charged for that appointment.
I run a virtual clinic located in Alaska, United States. All of my sessions are scheduled in the Alaska Time Zone. If you live outside of the United States and Canada, we will connect via Zoom. If you live in the United States or Canada, we will connect via Zoom or phone if Zoom is not an option for you.
Outside of yes or no answers, stand-alone services, consultations, and lab tests do not include email support (unless detailed on the product page). Questions that require more than a yes or no answer require a consult.
Email is only monitiored during business hours. While I do strive to be prompt, response times are dependent on my schedule and may take upto four business days.
10am to 4 pm, Alaska Time, USA, Monday through Thursday.

I only work with nutraceuticals that are of the highest efficacy and purity standards. I do not recommend buying supplements from Amazon. Click here to read more about the dangers of buying supplements from Amazon.
Recommended labs sourced outside of my site will require an analysis and interpretation fee (per lab).
One of the most important concepts for optimal mind body health is mineral balance. Minerals play a crucial role in every single biochemical process in the body, including (but not limited to) energy production, immune function, nerve function, muscle contraction, bone formation, blood sugar regulation, enzyme activity, hormone production and regulation, proper pH balance, and mitochondrial function. When there is an imbalance or deficiency in minerals it leads to various symptoms, conditions, and disease. Therefore, the goal of mineral balancing is to optimize the body’s mineral levels to restore overall health.
Now that you understand the importance of mineral balancing, let’s talk about hair analysis to access your mineral status. A hair analysis is a soft tissue biopsy. This means we are looking at cellular activity of minerals in the hair, much like a liver biopsy would look at the activity of liver cells. A hair analysis measures 37 elements, including macro-minerals, trace elements, and toxic metals, and give us direct insight to your mineral metabolism and heavy metal status, though not necessarily the total body load of any mineral like you might think. While the mineral levels provided on a hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) do provide some helpful information, the most relevant information is found in the mineral ratios and patterns. Because of the way minerals are regulated by our glandular system, the ratios and patterns provide a very accurate stress analysis of the body. When you have a clear understanding of physiology you can then use the test to infer a wealth of information about the functioning of the entire neuroendocrine system. For example, the Ca/K ratio is referred to as the thyroid ratio. Potassium is needed to sensitize the cells thyroid hormone, and calcium desensitizes them. In this way it regulates your thyroid hormone expression. Another example is the Ca/Mg ratio, aka the blood sugar ratio. The body uses Calcium to signal the release of insulin from the pancreas in response to elevated blood sugar. When blood sugar returns to normal, magnesium stops the release of insulin. In this way Ca/Mg regulates blood sugar.
A HTMA tests approximately 1.5 inches of hair closest to the scalp to provide a reading of mineral deposition over the previous 3 months. This is unique and significant in that it allows us to look at long term metabolic trends. Symptoms, conditions, and dis-ease don’t happen overnight, they happen over time. Another feature of HTMA that further underscores it significance is the fact that mineral values can vary widely in tissue versus mineral values in blood, which are under tight homeostatic control even in the face of disease. In fact, minerals are pulled from the tissue to maintain mineral balance in the blood. For these reasons HTMA is a great early indicator for metabolic issues and the best way to know for certain what nutrients your body needs to.
Mineral balancing is the best tool out there to optimize the body’s mineral levels and restore your health and happiness.
In the body, the real magic happens in the cells, not in the blood. Nutrient levels in the blood are tightly regulated under a very different homeostatic mechanism than nutrients in tissue. A blood test will accurately indicate your levels at the time of the test only, whereas HTMA indicates nutrient metabolsim over an extended period of time.
There are many factors involved and every person is on a unique journey which makes it impossible for me to answer this question. We are complex beings, and must consider our body, mind, and spirit when we are seeking balance. If we neglect any aspect of our being we will struggle to find balance, and therefore healing. What I can say is that your body is designed to heal, and by following your personalized protocol you will be providing your body exactly what it needs to heal on a cellular level. Clients who decide to follow only part of thier protocol, aren't truly ready to heal and wont have much, if any success.
A study of the composition and distribution of all minerals and trace elements in a living organism and their variations under diverse physiological and pathological conditions, specifically the molecular mechanism underlying the metabolism, homeostasis, and cross-talk of these elements.
Bioenergetics and bioresonance are two different but related fields that focus on the body’s energy systems to promote healing and balance in the body. .
Both of these modalities support the immune system, reduce stress, and improve overall health and well-being.
Somatic therapy is body-centric approach to release stress, tension, stagnant emotions, and trauma from the body.
Biofield refers to the complete energetic system within and around the body. It includes an electric and magnetic component similiar to your home electrical wiring. It highlights the interconnected nature of these elements, which play a vital role in your overall well-being.
Your body’s electromagnetic field extends past your physical body, and deeply connects your energy system with your conscious and subconscious mind.
Energy medicine is based on the understanding that physical, mental, and behavioral problems have a counterpart in the body’s energies, and can be treated at this level.
Trauma is not what happens to you. Trauma is what happens inside of you as a result of what happened to you. -Gabor Mate
Trauma is the lasting response resulting from distressing events. The distressing events don’t have to be huge. They can be small & seem like no big deal. It's all in how the event was interpreted.
Trauma is stored in the body (not the mind) where it alters our physiology & has a big impact on our health. One of the first things we do after a traumatic experience is disconnect from our body – because the feeling or emotion is too painful. So we live in our head. Ignoring the trauma doesn’t make it go away. The trauma is still there chronically triggering a fight or flight response, dysregulating your nervous system, and down regulating your energy producing glands.
I have extensive education and training in my respective fields, hold a degree from an accredited university, and am certified in my areas of expertise.
