You have a body, you have a mind and you have a spirit. Those three parts are intricately connected to make you the beautiful, unique person you are! They work together- so we must consider all three areas when it comes to being your healthiest, happiest self.
On a biochemical level each one of us is different - which means we all need different variations of nourishment to make us healthy. There is no such thing as 'One size fits all'. Taking your metabolic type into consideration is important when it comes to understanding what types of foods are most supportive for your body. Your mitochondrial strength, thyroid expression, toxic load, your liver and digestive function, stress, and even your emotions - past and present - take root in your body. All of these things impact your health and directly correlate with your nutritional requirements.
But it's not just about the food we eat or don't eat. It's a cumulative effect of all of the little things in our day to day lives. Relationships, careers, pets, exercise, nature, thoughts, positive affirmations, meditation, art, music, sunshine, and spiritual awareness are all essential forms of nourishment. Whatever makes your soul happy! Always do that!
